Inspired by tropical modernism, the architecture emphasizes an inherently sustainable approach that responds directly to the humid and subtropical climate and context of Florida. Sweeping single-pitched roofscapes are used not only as a defining formal element but also for natural ventilation and to efficiently collect and direct rainwater for harvesting. Simple, clean horizontal lines reinforce a sense of openness and connection to the surrounding landscape.
